Christina Winsey-Rudd | | This is a belly laugh I couldn't resist sharing!
Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing - imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try. BAKED STUFFED TURKEY 6-7 lb. Turkey 1 cup melted butter 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.) 1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT) Salt/pepper to taste Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted bu tter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room, it's done. And, you thought I couldn't cook...

Maria Stepek Doherty | | Very funny, Chris. I had this great visual of a very surprised looking turkey blasting across the kitchen, through the dining room wall and landing square on the table!
Remind me to take you out to dinner when we come to visit!!! Might be safer than turkey on the lap.
Have a peaceful and loving Thanksgiving.

Cathy Wagner | | Thought you'd like to know, he wouldn't do it. I guess the image of the oven door blowing open was just to much for him; he seemed to think it would make a mess. lol
